Jewellery Care

Take care of your jewellery by keeping it dry and stored in the provided cloth pouch when not in use, which will prolong the life and lustre of the finish.

Sterling silver jewellery can be cleaned very easily with a silver cloth but avoid contact with any stones.

Chemicals, cosmetics and perfumes can cloud the brilliance of a gemstone and tarnish the surface of sterling silver and gold plated jewellery. Apply perfume and skincare well before putting on your jewellery and gold plated jewellery should be removed prior to showering, bathing and swimming to prolong the wear of the gold plating.

Gold vermeil style is a 1 micron overlay of 24k gold on a base of 925 sterling silver. To clean gold vermeil jewellery wipe gently with a soft, dry 100% cotton cloth or microfibre cloth. Never use silver cloth or chemical cleaners on 24k gold vermeil jewellery as it can strip the gold finish. Gold vermeil style jewellery will tarnish naturally over time and will acquire a patina that adds character to the piece.
