Beaded necklace design hand-strung in Australia by a Reiki Master using ethically sourced fair-trade African Turquoise heishi beads and Hematite heishi Beads. This beaded necklace features a thunderbird pendant hand-carved by an indigenous Pueblo artisan from reconstituted turquoise. On each side of the pendant, Karen Hill Tribe Fine Silver beads are featured and finished with a Sterling Silver Clasp.
Note- Each Thunderbird necklace is slightly differently beaded and each one is unique. You will receive the necklace with one silver bead sitting on each side of the thunderbird as in the photo of the necklace only. Model shot is to show how necklace sits when wearing.
Pendant size is approximately 25mm across wing span.
The Thunderbird is believed to rule the weather creating rain, wind, hail and snow and is important for agriculture and crops in a desert land. When the thunderbird is angry, it flashes lightning from its eyes and creates thunder with its massive wings.
